HOW TO USE THIS ONLINE ROTA

Hello,

If you are viewing this on-line page, you will have been given this address to look at so you can view catering shifts are available.

These shifts will be put up a month at a time, usually around the 15th of the previous month.

Please do not add comments to the post, if you would like to work the shift, please text or whatsapp Patsy Smith  on 07805785273

He will then fill in the shifts so everybody can check on this blog and see which shifts you are working as well as a start time.

Please make yourself available for as many shifts as possible, however you may not get ALL the shifts you ask for during quieter periods.

It is also a good idea to check the blog at regular intervals as last minute shifts will appear from time to time.

Any Questions, please feel free to ask

Thanks

Football matches reinstated dates

Premier League Statement: Update

Burnley Football Club fully supports the approach outlined by the Premier League below and is committed to working with the league to get the season re-started when it is safe to do so.
Premier League statement: The FA, Premier League, EFL and women’s professional game, together with the PFA and LMA, understand we are in unprecedented times and our thoughts are with everyone affected by COVID-19.

We are united in our commitment to finding ways of resuming the 2019/20 football season and ensuring all domestic and European club league and cup matches are played as soon as it is safe and possible to do so.
We have collectively supported UEFA in postponing EURO 2020 to create space in the calendar to ensure domestic and European club league and cup matches have an increased opportunity to be played and, in doing so, maintain the integrity of each competition.

The FA’s Rules and Regulations state that “the season shall terminate not later than the 1 June” and “each competition shall, within the limit laid down by The FA, determine the length of its own playing season”.
However, The FA’s Board has agreed for this limit to be extended indefinitely for the 2019/20 season in relation to Professional Football.
Additionally, we have collectively agreed that the professional game in England will be further postponed until no earlier than 30 April.

Functions until the end of May as of 19th March

Functions until the end of May as of 19th March

Covid 19

Dear Ladies and Gents

As Gibo had previously mentioned on an earlier blog, Turf Moor is currently closed to external visitors . We have under advice and in agreement with all of our booked clients  - decided to cancel ALL booked functions within the hospitality department until the END of MAY , so we currently have no bookings until EARLY JULY (this could change) .

We will be obviously constantly re evaluating the situation and will try to update you accordingly . But as I'm sure you are all aware this is a very fast changing & evolving situation .

There is a meeting being held today between all the premier league clubs to look at the calendar and future match schedules . This could well result in the movement of the initial suggested date of 4th April to a later date of several weeks (this may not be the case though).

We hope that you all take care , and make sure that you all look after each other . And remember to WASH YOUR HANDS

Minds Matter - #mental Health Matters -

Please find a link that some of you may find useful , or maybe it will be useful to a friend or colleague . Remember its good to talk and it's ok not to always be ok . The club are supporting this for the Bournemouth game on Saturday 22nd Feb

Clarets Dedicate Bournemouth Fixture to Mental Health

Burnley FC’s fixture versus AFC Bournemouth at Turf Moor will be dedicated to mental health awareness.

Around 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year. Most of us will know someone who is, or has been, struggling.

A powerful way to normalise mental health is by talking.

Through a special campaign video featuring Burnley players, available to view through the link below, we are offering all supporters a few ideas on how to get the conversation going about mental health with family and friends.

Neil Hart, Chief Executive Officer of Burnley FC in the Community said: “As a club, we are proud to be open about the subject of mental health and we are committed to maintaining a conversation about it.

“It is an important issue in wider society, one that is a real focus in football at the moment and we encourage all supporters to play their part in tackling the stigma that still persists around the topic.”

As well as Burnley FC, the club’s official charity, Burnley FC in the Community, has cemented mental health as a key priority of its work in recent times.

In January 2019, the charity placed seven full-time Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners into seven secondary schools in Burnley and Pendle. Through their work, young people in our community are receiving ongoing vital support with their mental health and the impact is proving life changing.

Let’s support one another, normalise the subject of mental health and keep the conversation going.

If you feel as though someone needs urgent support with their mental health, you can suggest they talk to their GP or call NHS 111.

If you would like to discuss the work Burnley FC in the Community is delivering to support local people in maintaining their mental wellbeing, please contact Burnley FC in the Community’s Head of Health and Wellbeing Abby Turner on a.turner@burnleyfc.com or call 01282 704 716.
